1. HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR YOUR EVENTS IF I’M NEW?
Head to our Registration Page on the site - sign up and select the event you'd like to attend.
2. DO I STILL NEED TO REGISTER FOR REGULAR EVENTS IF I’M A MEMBER?
No, if you are a paying member there is no need to register for our regular Tuesday/ Sunday/ Midnight runs. Occasionally we will organise special events when we all ask members to register so we know/ can limit numbers - this will be made clear!
3. HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
Head to our Registration Page on the site and choose between 3 month membership (£30) or annual membership (£100). When you come to your next event please ask to collect your orange or black shoe tag.
4. THE EVENT SAYS IT’S FULL, CAN I STILL COME?
If you are not a member then no, afraid not but please sign up to the waiting list and we will let you know if there are any late cancellations. We have to put a cap on our events for safety reasons and therefore have a limited number of non-member slots each week. We recommend signing up to another future MR event or becoming a member.
If you are a member, then yes you can still come!
5. IS THERE A FEE?
Your first two events with us are free! Come along and try it out, we're pretty sure you'll be back for more. After two events, we ask you then become part of our community by purchasing one of our membership options - your support makes this happen and continues the growth of fun fitness for all!
6. HOW OFTEN/ WHEN DO YOU RUN?
Please check our Facebook page for the latest details but typically:
Tuesday 10km Bootcamp - EVERY WEEK - starting at 7:30pm
Sunday Runs - MOST WEEKS - usually starts at 10am
Midnight Runs - ONCE A MONTH on Fri/ Sat - usually starts at 8pm
Thursday Track - ON TRIAL - starting at 6:30pm
7. HOW FAST DO YOU RUN/ AM I FAST ENOUGH?
The speed of our group varies between 4min / km to 6 min / km (6.5 min/ miles to 9.5 min /miles). On our 10km bootcamp runs the workout stops are a perfect opportunity for slower runners to catch up with the faster ones but to enjoy them, you should be capable of running 10k in 60 mins.
8. WHAT DISTANCE DO YOU TYPICALLY RUN?
Tuesday Bootcamp - 10km but we stop every 2km to engage in awesome bootcamp exercises
Sunday Runs - we vary the length and can be anywhere between 10km and 50km (for the ultra runners amongst us!) so please check on our Facebook page for details
Midnight Runs - typically around 10 km long
9. WHERE DO YOU MEET UP?
Tuesday Bootcamp - meet outside Camino, Blackfriars (subject to change)
Sunday / Midnight runs - varies but usually in Central London. Have a look at our Facebook page for details
Thursday runs - Mile End track
10. IS THERE A BAG CHECK AVAILABLE?
Tuesday Bootcamp - Yes, there is an opportunity to store your clothes & bags securely on Tuesdays. Please turn up at least 20 minutes before the run to securely store your bag.
Sunday / Midnight runs - No, typically runners will pack light and carry a small rucksack if needed.
11. WHO ORGANISES MIDNIGHT RUNNERS?
Midnight Runners is organised by a group of volunteers, known as Crew - you will recognise them by the Orange C bands at events. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes and none of the Crew are paid by Midnight Runners, in fact they are all paying Members of the community! We all have other jobs but are enthusiastic about keeping running inclusive and fun - meet the crew here

13. WHAT ARE THE ‘MIDNIGHT’ RUNS?
Each month we organise a special run on Friday/ Saturday which is themed and followed by an after-run party! Past themes have included Wimbledon, Halloween and James Bond - it’s a lot of fun!
14. COULD YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE AFTER-RUN PARTY?
Sure. After the Midnight Run (typically around 11pm) we head to a bar for a party and to grab a few drinks. There is a DJ, dance floor and, like in any bar, a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
15. DOES EVERYONE GO AS THEY ARE TO THE AFTER-RUN PARTY OR IS THERE SOMEWHERE TO GET CHANGED?
Most people go as they are, but of course you can get changed. There are no showers, though.
